Our Roots

The Green Beans is a CAS group led by Leading Beans Kristin Low (Visual Arts), Jedrek Koh (Visual Arts) and Vanessa Guinadi (Music) from SOTA, with the aim of encouraging Singaporean youths like ourselves to explore and develop a love for our own local, natural green spaces.

We believe that immersing ourselves in nature is not only a way of connecting with the world and learning about the ecosystem, or a form of relaxation, but is also what pushes us to pause a little and reflect on the lives that we lead.
